British intelligence are involved in the investigation of the subway explosion

The explosion on the subway in the west of the capital on Friday was carried out by an improvised explosive device, according to police estimates.

Rauley said in remarks broadcast on BBC television that investigations were under way as police continued to listen to witnesses and unload surveillance records, adding that experts from MI5 were involved in the investigation.

The Assistant Commissioner asked the public, who had information, pictures or video clips related to the incident, to submit it to the authorities, and called on citizens around London to be vigilant and cautious.

The British authorities announced the injury of 18 people in the blast, noting that the incident is treated as a terrorist act, is scheduled to preside over British Prime Minister Theresa May, a meeting of the Security and Emergency Committee (Cobra) against the backdrop of the incident
