Mexico expels North Korean ambassador over nuclear tests

The Mexican government said on Thursday that it had announced North Korean ambassador Kim Hyong-jil an undesirable person to protest the nuclear tests conducted by the Asian nation recently.

The government said in a statement it had given the ambassador 72 hours to leave the country in a move aimed at expressing “absolute rejection” of North Korea’s actions, which it described as a serious threat to the region and the world.
