Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Colombia during a meeting with its President Juan Manuel Santos on Wednesday against terrorism and Iran as a threat to the Latin American state.
Despite a nuclear deal that has improved Iran’s relations with the international community, Netanyahu has traveled the world warning of Tehran’s nuclear arsenal and influence in Syria.
At a press conference, Netanyahu said Colombia was not immune from “targeting terrorists” and threatening Iran with its security.
Santos and Netanyahu signed an agreement to boost agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Netanyahu’s tour of Latin America is also scheduled to include Mexico and Argentina
