Lawmakers from throughout the political spectrum led tributes to former first girl Barbara Bush Sunday after a spokesman introduced the 92-year-old was in “failing well being.”

The official @GOP Twitter account tweeted: “Our total RNC household provides prayers of consolation and peace for Barbara Bush and all the Bush household.” 

White Home press secretary Sarah Sanders mentioned, “The President’s and First Girl’s prayers are with the entire Bush Household throughout this time.”

Home Minority Chief Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., tweeted that Bush “is a consolation to her buddies & household educating us all find out how to dwell full of religion, love & humor.”

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley tweeted Sunday that Bush is “a lady of nice religion, nice power, and an unwavering love of nation.

“Our nation is best due to former First Girl Barbara Bush,” Haley added.

Former Republican U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, now the everlasting U.S. consultant to NATO, described Bush as “one in every of America’s most-loved girls.”

“Barbara Bush has a personality that’s as large, inspiring and iconic as Texas,” the state’s governor, Greg Abbott, mentioned in an announcement. “Cecilia and I ask all Texans to affix us in praying for Barbra and all the Bush household throughout this time.”

Rep. Sean Maloney, D-N.Y., paid tribute to Bush as “a sleek First Girl who has devoted her life to enhancing schooling and selling literacy”, whereas Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan known as her “an unimaginable First Girl and an amazing American.”

Longtime Republican political guide Rick Wilson described Bush as “an icon” whose “fierce love for her household transcended politics.” Ohio Gov. John Kasich known as her “a lady of grace, humility and nice compassion.”

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., mentioned he was “praying” for Bush and her household and known as her “a particular girl, whose nice religion and love for her nation conjures up us all.”

Dana Perino, former White Home press secretary beneath George W. Bush and host of Fox Information’ “The Day by day Briefing,” tweeted: “Barbara Bush has taught us all a lot. Brave, joyful, patriotic, devoted, charitable, studious, hilarious. There should not sufficient characters to explain her character.”

Chelsea Clinton, whose father Invoice Clinton defeated George H.W. Bush within the 1992 presidential election, tweeted that she was “[k]eeping Barbara Bush and her household in my coronary heart and prayers.

“I’ll always remember how sort she was to me each time we met, and the way fondly the White Home workers at all times spoke of her,” she added.
